The ST-2 unit is our newest innovation. Developed
over the past two years to answer the needs of 2 way communications.
Our wireless receiver is addressable and can be fitted with a wide
variety of features like: sensors that report back the operational
condition of the light pole, pump, motor or any "electrically
powered equipment"*. The ST-2's unit is weatherproof, safe, reliable
and can be easily installed in a matter of minutes.
1. ST-2 is simply wired between the line
and load power source, the internal wireless receiver uses " Mesh
Networking Components" and the heavy duty relays can safely
turn the device off or on and monitor it's operational status.
Such as whether the light is actually on or off ,the pump or motor
is running.
2. The wireless receiver/router accepts a
signal from the transmitter, which is controlled by "Command &
Control" software program and a net book computer (can be included
with the package ). The computer software is installed and ready to
use. The address of each receiver is pre-programmed and ready
to "name" - identify a location.
3. The Net Book computer can control every
ST-2 unit independently, turning the device on or off. Each
unit can be independently controlled manually using the
handheld transmitter, automatically at any pre-determined time or
any number of programmed scenes . Best of all you can securely
control everything function from any computer using an
internet connection.
4. The current ST-2 unit is 4.75 inches by
6.75 inches and 2.25 inches deep. The enclosure is weatherproof,
rugged and is maintenance free. Our newest feature is a high gain
internal antenna which will match or surpass the performance of our
earlier external antenna.
5. The range of the Receiver depends on the location,
obstructions and other potential interferences. Each receiver is
also a router so excellent performance in each application is almost
assured,
